What the extension handles

Selector Pro processes the page elements you select, screenshots, page styles and related assets locally in your browser to provide its visible features.

Selected page content, screenshots, browsing history and page URLs are not sent to Selector Pro servers. Settings may sync through Chrome Sync under your Google account.

License verification

When you activate or periodically verify a license, the extension sends the license key and a randomly generated installation identifier to our Vercel-hosted license endpoint. They are used only to verify access, enforce the personal-license limit and support refunds or payment disputes.

The license key and installation identifier are stored in the activation database only as one-way hashes, together with first and last verification times. We do not store page content, browsing history, page URLs, Google account details or a device fingerprint in this database.

Payments

Stripe processes checkout and stores payment, customer email and transaction records. We do not receive or store your full card number. The license key is shown directly on the verified payment-success page.

Website analytics

The public website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page paths, referrers, approximate region, browser and device category. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled. We use this aggregate data only to understand and improve the website.

The payment-success route is excluded from analytics, so its Stripe Checkout session identifier and license key are not sent to Google Analytics. Selected page content and extension screenshots are never included in website analytics.

Storage and sharing

The license key stays in chrome.storage.local. The random installation identifier and preferences use chrome.storage.sync, with a local fallback. Inactive installation slots are released after 45 days without verification. License and transaction metadata remain in Stripe for licensing, support, fraud prevention and legal recordkeeping. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Our use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
